Adult learner
Having taught many years at Frances King School of English, Caroline is armed with a vast experience in teaching 'English as a Second Language' to adults.
Being the only teacher in our team with a CELTA certificate, whether it's everyday conversational English or Business English, Caroline will deliver a tailored lesson to suit your needs.
Guided reading
By reading out loud and being able to talk about the text, it has significant beneficial impact on word recognition, fluency and comprehension.
Our lovely Eve will help you to select a book specifically to suit your child's age, interests and level to provide just the right amount of challenge to improve their critical thinking skill.
Young learner
Emma offers 30 minute lessons to suit our very young learners, from as young as 3 years old! She has a fantastic way to get your child a real head-start in learning to speak English naturally by giving them individual dedicated attention and confidence. As they grow and their ability increases, she can keenly focus on any area they need to improve, or to really hone their skills to become very proficient in English.
Exam preparations
Whether it's 7+, 11+, private school entrance tests, GCSEs or SAT, we have teachers to suit your child's learning styles, age, subject matter, and even personality.
We understand that exams are stressful and our teachers will help to address on particular problem areas such as comprehension, SPAG, vocabulary, creative writing or verbal reasoning. We aim to boost their confidence and love for learning.
Science lessons
Kay is passionate at teaching Science, ranging from primary school Science to more advanced A Level Biology and Chemistry.
Being a qualified secondary school Science teacher, she is experienced in keeping children engaged, stimulated and happy in their individual learning.
History lessons
After graduated with a History degree and worked as journalist for a few years, Jack decided to train as a secondary school teacher. He has now been teaching History & Politics for 8 years and has travelled extensively around the world.
